This year I made my gingerbread house with chewed-up candy.

For Christmas I got an acrylic paint set, a box of chocolates, an acrylic paint book, and a flower presser.

The Apple Orchard

Yesterday we went to the apple orchard. I like climbing trees and picking the apples at the top. We picked some really good Zestar apples and then bought some Honeycrisp apples. Then we bought some desserts. We got cinnamon rolls, apple strudel, and apple walnut tart.

Saturday my family and I went to the Kasas City feis. I got a 2nd in reel, 1st in slip jig, 2nd in hornpipe, and 2nd in Treble jig. Because I have two first places at the novice level I earned a solo dress!!!!!!!!!!

New flooring

This past week we have had new flooring put in. It was just finished today,and it looks really nice. It's this very light and slightly yellow wood. Were going to get new flooring in our whole house!

Madison feis

I love feises!!! Last weekend Mom and I went to Madison for the feis. I got a first in treble jig, second in hornpipe, thrid in slip jig, first in reel, and forth in jig.

Nickelodeon Universe

A few days ago I went to Nickelodeon Universe to celebrate my little sister's birthday. I can't decide witch was my favorite ride. All of the rides I rode were fun but this was the most exciting. It went upside down!

My new skirt

A few days ago I made a skirt with the sewing machine I got for my birthday. Nana was over at our house and so she helped me quiet a bit. It was very fun and easy. Now I am making some pajama pants.

Christmas

This year for Christmas we didn't realy go any where or have anyone over. We just had a pretty ( and pretty snowy ) Christmas. For Christmas I got a lot of stuff I got a bed for my doll, a coat for my doll, a dress for my doll, a weaving loomb, 50 dollars, another 50 dollars, stamps and an ink pad, and socks.

On Saturday I went to a Halloween party for church. I went to church with my witch costume on. First I made a cookie with frosting an inch high. Then I went trick-or-treating at the different rooms in the church. My favorite room was Sis. Price's room. For Halloween she was a crazy scientist with a funny accent. Her room had a bunch of different jars with different colored water in them, and she had a big box of candy with a tube going through the box. Sis. Price took an eye-dropper, put it in the colored water, sneaked a piece of candy, and put it through the tube. She called the box and tube her candy machine.

My favorite book

Today I read this book on audio. I liked it because it was funny. It is about a girl that completely loves money, it has always been her dream to have a million dollars. So she and her friends Quinsy, Rob, Teddy, and Eddie, throw an old pillow into the air, take a picture of it, and it looks just like a UFO. So they soled it to a news paper for fifteen dollars. Then a bunch of reporters came and interviewed them and they made up a crazy story about aliens that came and said inky, dinky, pinkie. So a bunch of company's started making shirts that said inky, dinky, pinkie, on them. They were going to get a million dollars, but Rob said it was a lie.

The Field Trip

Yesterday I went on a field trip to The Works in Edina. (That's a little museum full of mini inventions.) First, we played with the little inventions for about a half hour. Then we went to a chemistry room and did an awesome experiment.
We put a bunch of red cabbage in a bag with some water we squished the cabbage a little and then the water turned blue because of the chemicals in the cabbage. Then we poured the water into little cups equally. Then we poured in other stuff: ammonia, Windex, orange juice, lemon juice, and milk of magnesia. Then it turned different colors. We found out that the differenter (I made the word "differenter" up.) color it turns the stronger acid or base it is.

Lake Harriet

Today we went for a walk with Fauna on Lake Harriet. There is this tree at Lake Harriet that has a little door on it. That's because a little tiny elf, about five inches tall lives in there. Lot's of kids write to him. He writes back with tiny little letters.
Then we walked a little car decorated with plates, and I think that it is awesome, but I wonder how he stuck all of those on.

Irish Dance Feis

Yesterday I went to a Feis. I danced five dances. The reel, jig, slip jig, hornpipe, and treble jig. I got fourth place on the reel, third on the jig, and third on the slip jig.
Then we went over to a table where there were two people selling little pins. Mom ordered one for me when I had finished all of my dances we came back and It was done. They had pins with all of the different school dresses from the dance schools represented at the Feis. But in the corda mor (my dance school) there were two light-skinned ones. So he changed it to a dark-skinned one.
Then I went to the party! I bet there were 50 people. There was lots of wonderful food and one big cake. The cake said corda mor and had a big fat design on it. Then me and my friends did a big show.

Frodo

I have a very cute puppy (he's actually full grown) named Frodo. He's about half a foot tall, and loves to give kisses he especialy likes to kiss my feet.

Now I am knitting a hat that is blue. The yarn that I am using is very fluffyish and cool. I'm not very far on my hat, I still have like seven inches to go.

The Lost Planet Pie

I wrote this story a few months ago. I think it's my favorite story that I've written.

Prologue
Planet Pie has eight lands called: Spameataland, Strawberland, Chocoland, Dariland, Fruland, Veggieland, Breadland, and the Capital. Each land is shaped like a piece of pie.
The people that used to live on Planet Pie were looking for new technology, plants, and medicine on different planets. They found the planets Kewakastan and Rewarastan. While they were looking for new technology Planet Pie vanished, until. . .


It all started out with a curious girl named Lauren. She lived on planet Kewakastan.
One day when she was about twelve she was burying her feet in the sand, and they touched something hard. She dug some more. Then she found part of it.

Lauren took a long time to get it out because it was huge. In fact, it was so big that . . . it was a spaceship!
It was a small spaceship for a girl just her size. It was blue and red with white stripes.
There was a note inside and it said: Planet Pie, but the rest was torn off. What is planet pie? She thought. Next thing she knew she was climbing into the spaceship.
She looked at all of the levers, switches, and buttons. She found a switch that said “on/off.” She switched it to on.
Lauren took off! She looked at all of the buttons; she found one that said “speed of light.” Now that seemed like fun. So she pressed it!
That spaceship went extremely fast! So Lauren pushed a button that said “slow.”
Then Lauren went back. She took the handles and turned back. Then she pressed a button that said “fast.”

Finally, Lauren found the very small Planet Pie. It was very bare with only a few mountains, rivers, and ponds.

She went back to her spaceship, started it up and went back to Planet Kewakastan. She told the new reporers about it. Then they came and told the people in Rewarastan. Almost half the population came to Planet Pie. They came because they like their old way of life better. From then on they lived on Planet Pie, until. . .
