Today we went for a walk with Fauna on Lake Harriet. There is this tree at Lake Harriet that has a little door on it. That's because a little tiny elf, about five inches tall lives in there. Lot's of kids write to him. He writes back with tiny little letters.Then we walked a little car decorated with plates, and I think that it is awesome, but I wonder how he stuck all of those on.

I haven't been to the Fairy Door for years ... I don't remember, how does he respond to you - does he mail you a note or do you have to go back and pick it up there?

He hasn't responded to me yet but someone told me that he leaves it in the tree.
